# outerbounds flowproject get-metadata

The `get-metadata` subcommand fetches the latest flowproject metadata for a project branch: the JSON document that `obproject-deploy` registered, including workflow definitions, asset references, and app configurations.

## Usage

```sh theme={null}
outerbounds flowproject get-metadata --id <PROJECT/BRANCH> [OPTIONS]
```

## Options

Option

Description

`--id <PROJECT/BRANCH>`

Required. The project and branch identifier, such as `fraud_detection/main`.

## Examples

View metadata for the production branch:

```sh theme={null}
outerbounds flowproject get-metadata --id fraud_detection/main
```

Pretty-print the metadata with `jq`:

```sh theme={null}
outerbounds flowproject get-metadata --id fraud_detection/main | jq .
```
