# outerbounds workstation hibernate

Hibernates a workstation, stopping its compute while preserving its files and state. The workstation restarts automatically the next time you connect to it. Specify exactly one of `--id` or `--name`.

## Usage

```bash theme={null}
outerbounds workstation hibernate [OPTIONS]
```

## Options

`--id`

The ID of the workstation (Example: ws-1a2b3c4d).

`--name`

The name of the workstation as shown on the platform UI (Example: my workstation).

`-d`, `--config-dir`

`~/.metaflowconfig`

Path to the Metaflow configuration directory.

`-p`, `--profile`

The named Metaflow profile in which your workstation exists.
