# outerbounds app suspend

Suspends a deployment by scaling its workers down to zero while keeping its configuration, so you can resume it later without redeploying. Provide exactly one of `--name` or `--id`. If several deployments share a name, make the lookup more specific with `--project` and `--branch`. The command returns as soon as the platform accepts the request; the workers scale down asynchronously.

## Usage

outerbounds app suspend [OPTIONS]
```

## Options

Option

`--name`

Suspend app by name.

`--id`

Suspend app by ID.

`--project`

Specify the project the app belongs to.

`--branch`

Specify the branch of the project the app belongs to.

## Examples

**Suspend a deployment by name**

```bash theme={null}
outerbounds app suspend --name prediction-service
```

**Suspend a deployment by ID**

```bash theme={null}
outerbounds app suspend --id c-0123456789
```
