# outerbounds app resume

Resumes a suspended deployment by scaling its workers back up from the configuration it was suspended with. Provide exactly one of `--name` or `--id`. If several deployments share a name, make the lookup more specific with `--project` and `--branch`. The command returns as soon as the platform accepts the request, but workers scale up asynchronously, so the deployment won't be ready to serve traffic for a few minutes.

outerbounds app resume [OPTIONS]
```

## Options

Option

`--name`

Resume app by name.

`--id`

Resume app by ID.

`--project`

Specify the project the app belongs to.

`--branch`

Specify the branch of the project the app belongs to.

## Examples

**Resume a deployment**

outerbounds app resume --name prediction-service
```

**Resume a deployment by ID**

```bash theme={null}
outerbounds app resume --id c-0123456789
```
