# anaconda org login

## Usage

```bash theme={null}
anaconda org login [OPTIONS]
```

## Description

Authenticates a user with Anaconda.org and stores the resulting token locally. After you log in, subsequent `anaconda` commands use the stored credentials automatically.

## Options

`--hostname <HOSTNAME>`

System hostname

Specify a custom host name for this login session

`--username <USERNAME>`

(Deprecated) Specify your username; if omitted, you are prompted

`--password <PASSWORD>`

(Deprecated) Specify your password; if omitted, you are prompted

`-h`

Show help for this command

## Examples

**Log in interactively**

```bash theme={null}
anaconda org login
```

**Log in with a custom hostname**

```bash theme={null}
anaconda org login --hostname my-build-server
```
