# anaconda org groups

## Usage

```bash theme={null}
anaconda org groups <ACTION> <SPEC> [OPTIONS]
```

Comments

Replace \<ACTION> with one of the actions listed below.\\

Replace \<SPEC> with a group spec in the format ORGANIZATION/GROUP\_NAME\[/MEMBER]

## Description

Manages groups within an organization. Groups control access to packages through membership and permission levels.

## Arguments

Action to perform: `add`, `show`, `members`, `add_member`, `remove_member`, `packages`, `add_package`, `remove_package` (required)

`<SPEC>`

Group spec: `ORGANIZATION/GROUP_NAME[/MEMBER]` (required)

List packages associated with a group

## Examples

**Create a new group**

```bash theme={null}
anaconda org groups add my-org/data-science
```

**Show group information**

```bash theme={null}
anaconda org groups show my-org/data-science
```

**List group members**

```bash theme={null}
anaconda org groups members my-org/data-science
```

**Add a member with write permissions**

```bash theme={null}
anaconda org groups add_member my-org/data-science/newuser --perms write
```

**Remove a member from a group**

```bash theme={null}
anaconda org groups remove_member my-org/data-science/olduser
```

**List packages in a group**

```bash theme={null}
anaconda org groups packages my-org/data-science
```

**Add a package to a group**

```bash theme={null}
anaconda org groups add_package my-org/data-science/numpy
```
