# anaconda channel remove

## Usage

```bash theme={null}
anaconda channel remove <NAME> [OPTIONS]
```

## Description

Removes a channel. You can specify the channel in two ways:

* **Simple name with `--namespace`**: `anaconda channel remove my-channel --namespace my-org`
* **Combined format**: `anaconda channel remove my-org/my-channel`

> [!WARNING]
>
> Removing a channel deletes all packages and artifacts in that channel. This command does not prompt for confirmation. This action cannot be undone.

## Arguments

Channel name to remove (or `namespace/channel` format)

Namespace the channel belongs to

`-h, --help`

Show help for this command

## Examples

**Remove a channel**

```bash theme={null}
anaconda channel remove my-channel --namespace my-org
```

**Remove a channel using namespace/channel format**

```bash theme={null}
anaconda channel remove my-org/my-channel
```
