# anaconda ai stop-vectordb

## Usage

```bash theme={null}
anaconda ai stop-vectordb [OPTIONS]
```

## Description

Stops the running vector database instance. The database data is preserved and can be started again with `anaconda ai launch-vectordb`. Only works with the `anaconda-desktop` backend.
