# anaconda ai launch-vectordb

## Usage

```bash theme={null}
anaconda ai launch-vectordb [OPTIONS]
```

## Description

Starts a pgvector database instance. On success, the command outputs connection details, including the host, port, user, password, database name, and connection URI. Only works with the `anaconda-desktop` backend.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Vector database support is not available on all backends.
